Just as I noticed it, the security guard was on him and I started filming.” Says /u/kikizazaa posted on Halifax Reddit, the footage captures a suspect dressed in a red and black hoodie seen sprinting out of the store, carrying a large red shopping bag filled with merchandise. However, a mall security officer quickly intervenes, grabbing onto the suspect as they attempt to flee. “Not on my watch” said the guard.

In another moment captured on camera, the security guard can be seen firmly gripping the suspect’s arm, preventing them from making a getaway.
