On 20110221 at 2:05 a.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery that occurred at the Bluenose Motel located at 636 Bedford Highway in Bedford.

A male entered the motel and indicated to the female clerk that he had a weapon, although none was displayed. He demanded money.

The clerk handed the male an amount of cash and he fled the area. The HRP apprehended the suspect a short distance away and he was arrested for robbery and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court to face charges.
