Robbery at the Comfort Inn

At 8:10 last night a lone male entered the lobby area of the Comfort Inn, located at 560 Bedford Highway.

The male walked to the counter and demanded cash from the female clerk who was working. The suspect then sprayed the clerk with some type of sensory irritant.

The suspect was able to grab a quantity of cash and flee the area.

The 25 year old clerk was treated at the scene by EHS but did not require hospital treatment.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6’0 in height, thin build, blond hair, wearing a bandana across his face, black jacket and white sneakers.
