Robbery leads to arrest of four suspects

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred last night in Halifax.

At 8:10 p.m. officers responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the intersection of Harvard Street and Lawrence Street. A youth was approached by four suspects who threatened him and demanded his property; the victim wasn’t physically injured. The suspects fled the area in a vehicle. 

At 8:25 p.m. police located the vehicle on Pryor Street in Halifax and arrested the four suspects without incident, a loaded handgun was recovered from the vehicle.  

Three 18-year-old men and a 17-year-old male youth were held in custody overnight. They will appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face robbery and weapons charges.
