At 10 p.m., Thursday, April 25, Central Division members responded to a report of a robbery at the Petro Canada on Quinpool Road.
A man entered the store carrying a knife, and demanded cash and cigarettes. He left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, and was last seen travelling northbound on Oxford Street. The clerk was not injured during the incident. The suspect is described as a white man, 18-25-years-old, 5’7”, slim build, with short dark curly hair, wearing a plaid jacket and a black bandana over his mouth.
The Integrated HRP/RCMP GIS and CQRU members made an arrest, last night. A 16 year old male was arrested without incident. He is currently in police custody and will appear in Youth Court on Monday, facing robbery, possession of a weapon and bail violations charges.
