Robbery, two break and enters

At 1:50 a.m., on the 5th of December, Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Irving gas station 280 Lacewood Drive, Halifax.  Staff reported a male wearing all black entered and tackled the staff member to the floor and removed the cash register till.  The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount money toward Willett Street.  The staff member was not injured and no weapons were observed.  Patrol officers and a Police Service Dog searched the area, but have not located the suspect.  The suspect is described as:

Suspect – White male, 30’s, 6’0”, medium build.  Wearing: Black mask, black jacket, black sweat pants.

At 3:00 a.m., on the 5th of December, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a Break & Enter in progress into Glubes Sound Studio, 100 Main Street, Dartmouth.  Suspects entered through a damaged the front window and took several stereo items and left in an unknown direction.  There is no suspect information at this time. 

At 10:00 a.m., on the 4th of December, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a Break & Enter in the 900 block of Ivanhoe Street, Halifax.  Caller reported an unknown person entered a residential garage and stole a shotgun with a trigger lock.  The shotgun was packed and stored the night prior in a vehicle for a hunting trip.  There was no ammunition with the firearm.  There is no suspect information at this time.
