A Canada wide warrant has been issued for Lamb in the stabbing death of Beaton of Antigonish County.
RCMP Northeast Nova Major Crime Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 20 year old Robert Harris Lamb.
On February 1st, RCMP swore an information for second degree murder against Lamb at the provincial court in Antigonish. They were granted a Canada Wide Warrant for his arrest.
Lamb’s whereabouts are unknown. RCMP now believe he has left the country.
The sooner this man is brought in, the sooner Jon’s family, friends and community can begin to heal.
This charge stems from an extensive investigation into the stabbing death of 25 year old Jonathan Robert Beaton of Antigonish County, which occurred during a large disturbance on New Years Eve.
The RCMP is asking anyone with information on Lamb’s whereabouts to contact police immediately. The RCMP wishes to reassure the public that this was not a random act of violence.
Lamb is described as:
Caucasian male
20 years old
Blond hair
Blue eyes
Approximately 5′ 9″ tall
Approximately 145 lbs

Lamb is the fourth male charged.
On January 19, the RCMP charged 24 year old Jullian Frederick Chittick of Halifax with five weapons-related offences, one charge of uttering threats, one assault with a weapon charge and one breech of recognizance charge. Chittick remains in custody and will appear in court on February 10, 2010 to set a trial date.
An 18 year old Dartmouth male was arrested and released on an undertaking for assault and will appear in Provincial Court in Antigonish on March 31,2010.
Nineteen year old Christopher Fordham was charged with attempted murder and weapons offences in relation to the event on New Year’s Eve. He remains in custody and will appear in court on February 2, 2010.
