A woman faces charges in connection with a break and enter into a business this morning in Halifax.
At 4:42 a.m., police responded to a report of a break and enter into a business in the 1400 block of Dresden Row. Witnesses reported seeing a woman smash a window, steal a wedding dress that was on display and flee down Spring Garden Road. Officers attending the call observed a woman matching the suspect’s description a few blocks away. The woman was arrested and the stolen dress was located nearby.
Nineteen-year-old Caitlin Patricia Marie Hill of Halifax faces charges of break and enter, breach of recognizance and breach of probation. She is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today.
