(Update) Sackville Drive Water Main Repair

Public Service Announcement

Update: Halifax Water crews are on-site repairing a water main near 951 Sackville Drive.

Water service on Sackville Drive between Connolly Road and Sharon Drive, including Sackville Estates, are affected. It is estimated water service will be restored at 5:30pm. Crews will be on-site until early this evening to complete work at this location. Water service between Connolly Rd and Sharon Dr. is affected, including Sackville Estates.

Stop and go traffic will be in place in the work zone. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
