Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a section of Sackville Street in Halifax is shut down and will remain closed to traffic until Friday, Oct. 16, for construction in the area.

The road closed this morning between Market Street and Grafton Street. That block will not reopen overnight or on weekends during the closure.

Motorists are advised to find alternative routes over the next few weeks. Pedestrians will still be able to access the sidewalk along Sackville Street. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this closure may cause.
