Sackville Street – Road Closure

Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that starting next week, a section of Sackville Street in Halifax will shut down during the day to facilitate the removal of a construction crane in the area.

On Monday, Feb. 8, through to Friday, Feb. 19, Sackville Street will close to vehicles between Brunswick Street and Market Street from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily. Pedestrians will have access to the sidewalk along one side of Sackville Street throughout the closure.

Crews will also accommodate access at the intersection of Brunswick and Sackville streets for local vehicle traffic on Market, Grafton and Blowers streets. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this road closure may cause.
