The Chebucto News is reporting the new reduced bus schedule on the Sambro Loop. “Bus service will be cut drastically commencing November 22, 2010. The proposed new schedule is:

Ketch Harbour to South Centre Mall, 6:45am & 8:05am. 5:35pm & 6:55pm

South Centre Mall to Ketch Harbour, 7:30am, 5:30pm & 6:20pm.

There will be no bus service during peak hours. Amy Power, Supervisor, Scheduling & Service Planning, Metro Transit, states ‘Unfortunately, the Sambro service does not meet the service standard of 10 passengers per hour during the off peak hours.'”
