Apologies on the late start on this. Sambro Sou’wester Days actually started TODAY (Thursday), but will be continuing through the weekend. Note this is the 253rd anniversary of the founding of the Sambro lighthouse. Here are some highlights:
Saturday Aug. 13
10am-12noon – Community Parade, lighthouse tours
12 noon – washer toss, family carnival/BBQ, beer tent
9pm – adult dance
Sunday Aug. 14
11am-12 – HUSL Youth soccer game
10am – Service of the Sea
12 noon – Blessing of the Fleet
3pm-6pm – Lobster seafood chowder supper
1-3pm – Ballgames, rubber duck race
7:30-9pm – Sambro Ceilidh
10pm – Closing fireworks
