Saturday, November 21 Parade of Lights Detours for downtown Halifax Metro Transit Buses

The Annual Halifax Holiday Parade of Lights will be held the evening of Saturday, November 21Halifax Metro Transit Routes 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 18, 61/14, and 80 will be detoured in the downtown Halifax area from 6 pm until the end of the parade.
Route 1 (to Mumford) – straight on North St, left to Gottingen St, left to Cogswell St, right to Brunswick St (passengers may exit bus at Duke & Brunswick), right to Sackville St, right to Summer St, left to Veterans Memorial Lane, left to Robie St, right to Coburg Rd.

Route 1 (to Dartmouth) – the return trip will be the reverse of the to Mumford trip.
Routes 2 & Route  4 (to Downtown via North) – straight on North St, right to Gottingen St, left to Cogswell St, right to Brunswick St, left to Duke St, left to Market St, and then will continue on regular routing. The buses will not be servicing Scotia Square or Water St during the parade.
Route 6 (to Downtown) – from Cogswell St, right to Gottingen St, left to Rainnie Dr, left to Brunswick St. The buses will then depart at their normally scheduled time from Brunswick St, turn left to Cogswell St and return to regular routing.
Routes 7 (to Downtown) & Route 9 (to Point Pleasant) – southbound on Barrington St (Route 7 will turn from Gottingen St, left to North St, to Barrington St southbound) to Hollis St, left to George St, stop at Lower Water St Terminal, then via Duke St, left to Hollis St, right to South St (Route 9 will turn left to
Barrington St)
Routes 7 (to Novalea) & Route 9 (to Mumford Terminal) – from South St, left to northbound on Lower Water St to Lower Water St Terminal, continuing on Lower Water St to Barrington St where Route 9 will continue on regular routing, and Route 7 will turn left up North St to Gottingen St and then continue on regular routing.
Route 10 (to Dalhousie) – will travel the same route as Route 1 from Dartmouth; however, it will remain on Robie St, left to South St, right to South Park St, right to Inglis St and then return to regular routing
Route 10 (to Westphal) – reverse of the above trip directions.
Route 18 (to SMU) – from Robie St, left to South St, right to South Park St, right to Inglis St, and right to Robie St.
Route 61/14 (to Halifax) – once the parade has started heading to Halifax, the bus will turn the same as the Route 1 to Brunswick St (passengers may exit bus at Duke St and Brunswick St), right to Sackville St, right to Summer St, left to Veterans Memorial Lane, left to Robie St, straight to Robie St, left to South St, right to South Park St.
Route 61/14 (to Dartmouth) – From Inglis St to Barrington St, to Lower Water St, to Water St Terminal, continue on Lower Water St, to Barrington St, to Macdonald Bridge.
Route 80 (to Halifax) – eastbound via Coburg St, left to Robie St, right to Veterans Memorial Lane, right to Summer St, left to Sackville St, left to Brunswick St, left to Rainnie St, right to Gottingen St, right to Cogswell St, right to Brunswick St.
Route 80 (to Bedford / Sackville) – follow same routing as the Route 1 back to Robie St and then return to regular routing.
