Friday, March 27, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that snow removal work on the roof of the Scotia 1 Arena at Cole Harbour Place is complete and the rink is once again open to the public.
The rink has been closed all week as a precaution while frozen snow and ice were removed from the roof. Building maintenance staff were on site today for another structural assessment, which confirmed the building is safe to reopen.
The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may have caused and thanks residents for their patience. For more information on Cole Harbour Place and its programs and facilities, please visit http://www.coleharbourplace.com/.
