A man faces charges after a drug search last night in Dartmouth.
At 5:45 p.m., officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit conducted a search of an apartment in the 0-100 block of Highfield Park Drive. Officers seized a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash. A man in the appartment resisted arrest and assaulted two police officers, although they were not injured.
 
Thirty-six-year-old Andrew Curt Wint of Dartmouth is charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of drugs, resisting arrest and two counts of assaulting a police officer. He was held overnight and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today.
