A man face charges after a search was conducted early this morning in
Dartmouth.

At 12:35 a.m., officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General
Investigation Section, assisted by the HRP Emergency Response Team,
conducted a search of a residence on Mason Street. Two men were arrested
without incident and the search resulted in the seizure of a loaded
long-barrelled firearm and ammunition.

Twenty-seven-year-old John Kent Nimmo of Dartmouth was scheduled to
appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today to face a number of
weapon-related charges as well as four counts of breaching his
recognizance.
