Search Warrants Leads to Drugs and Cash Seized, Arrests Made

Police seized cash and drugs and arrested three people after executing two search warrants at homes in North Kentville and Lakeville yesterday.

On May 5, 2016, as a part of an ongoing investigation, Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU), and Kings District RCMP executed two search warrants and seized 57 grams of cocaine, Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), hash oil, shatter, psylocybin (mushrooms), electronics and over $20, 000 in cash.

Two males and one female were arrested. Richard Arthur Alexander MacInnis-Hines, 22, from Lakeville and Vanessa Ann Coleman, 19, from North Kentville have been jointly charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cannabis, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Psylocybin (magic mushrooms). MacInnis-Hines and Coleman have been released from custody  and are scheduled to appear in Kentville Provincial Court on June 6, 2016.

Kyle Joseph Hubley, 20, from North Kentville was charged with Breeching a Recognizance. Hubley was released and is scheduled to appear in Kentville Provincial Court on June 8, 2016.

The investigation is continuing.
