Sediment removal work to begin on Griffins Pond

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that work to remove sediment from Griffins Pond, located in the Halifax Public Gardens, will begin Monday, Mar. 5.

Work is expected to be complete this spring, weather permitting.

Access to the Halifax Public Gardens will be maintained at all times.

Motorists can expect occasional stop-and-go traffic, as well as lane drops on Sackville Street, while work is underway.

The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is completed.
