Seeking compensation – A guide for consumers

The Joint Forum of Financial Market Regulators has put together a new web based publication “Seeking Compensation, a Guide for Consumers.” This guide is a useful tool for consumers of financial products and services.  It outlines where you can turn to for help if you believe that you have lost money because of an error, disagreement or the possible misconduct of either your financial adviser or a financial company. The guide also provides information about compensation funds that may protect you if the financial company you deal with goes bankrupt. All conteant is available in both English and French.
