Seniors Valentines Tea a Success

94 Seniors attended The Valentines Tea held on Wednesday 10th February at the Whites Lake Legion.

Robert Pretty’s famous chowder was fabulous as usual. Sandwiches and sweets donated by the members of our Seniors Group who meet on Wednesday afternoons at the Legion from 1-3 p.m. were most appreciated.

The Seniors had a great time meeting old and new friends and dancing to music by Robert Pretty and Brandon Slaunwhite. Even the weather co-operated.

If interested in attending our Wednesday afternoon Group for Seniors, just come to the Legion and ask for Pauline (Chairperson) Jan (Treasurer) or Mary (Secretary) of the Seniors Network. We also have Seniors Exercise Classes on Wednesdays from 12 – 1 p.m.
