Sephora + Pantone Universe liners

Check out this cute Sephora + Pantone Universe Foiled Waterproof Eyeliner Set. Just in time for holiday travel, with the colours you will need to make your eyes stand out 🙂
This set includes of six pigmented, metallic and waterproof eyeliners in beautiful shades from silver to rose gold, inspired by Pantone’s 2013 Plus Series Metallic Book.
The formula is a blend of polymers, silicones and emollients, assures that the liners glide on smoothly and last through your day and night looks.

I’m loving the rich colours for Fall and Winter. The metallic finish screams holidays, the creamy texture is perfect for smoky looks and waterproof ability means crying at family reunion is totally acceptable 🙂 Also enjoy the small tips which allow precise application.
The six shades, from L-R: Charcoal, Rose Gold, Chocolate Brown, Purple, Gold and Silver (0.03oz/ 0.85g each).
The names aren’t very creative (hah) but because they are not printed on the pencils, traditional names work. I think Pantone got it right when these shades come out of their 2013 book. I still sometimes reach for blues and greens for my lash lines this season, but this set definitely has me at the rose gold, chocolate brown and purple, if not all lol. I’m not very helpful, am I?

Swatches in the same order as above. I found the degree of metallic sheen that the liners have varies.
First row: Charcoal has fine silver shimmer which helps it glow, Rose Gold has a light foil sheen, Brown is lightly metallic.
Second row: Purple is leaning toward semi matte finish but not boring in any way, Gold has beautiful sheen and Silver has the strongest foil effect.
Smudge test about 5 minutes after swatching did not fare very well, but they wear well on the eyes once set, you just need to give them a bit more time to set. This also means that you have a bit more time to blend them out for looks. Removing the liners afterward took a bit of scrubbing with just wipes, so I would suggest a eye makeup remover for these.
