September Contest – Update No. 1

Registration for the Shut Up and Surf Classic has now closed. We’ve redrafted the heat schedule to reflect the final number of competitors (see below). A more detailed heat schedule will follow in the next few days. Stay tuned.

The forecast isn’t looking great for the long weekend, so it’s likely that we’ll be on hold until the next weekend with good waves…but this could change day-to-day, so stay tuned to the stoplight in the upper left-hand corner of the SANS website.

We’ll try to give a heads up 2-3 days in advance and at least 24 hours notice with the green light. We’ll also be sending updates via Facebook, so sign-up to the SANS group if you aren’t already a member.

Following the contest, there will be an after-party to bro-down and announce the winners. If we end up holding the contest on a Sunday, we’ll hold the after-party the following Saturday. Stay tuned for details on the party…rumour has it that there is a barn and mini-ramp involved.
