Product description: The recall involves Series I 120 volt black wall adapter with model number TPA- 46050150UU included with the Skylight Digital Photo Frame. The affected Series I power adapters have a circular indentation on the side of the plastic adapter enclosure. Power adapters without a circular indentation on the side of the plastic adapter enclosure are not affected by this recall.

Hazard identified: The affected power adapters may break apart when handling and expose the metal prongs, posing a risk of an electrical shock if plugged into an electrical outlet. As of November 5, 2019, the company has received one report in Canada, that the plastic enclosure of the power adapter separated exposing the metal outlet prongs. In the United States, the company has received 7 reports of the plastic enclosure of the power adapter separating exposing the metal outlet prongs. There were no reports of injuries in Canada or the United States.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled units and contact Skylight for instructions on proper disposal and how to receive a free replacement power adapter.
