HRP release:

At 6:13 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to multiple reports of vehicle travelling Northbound on the wrong side of the Highway 111 near exit 5 (Micmac Blvd) in Dartmouth.   A few minutes later callers reported a head-on collision near the on ramp 4 (Woodland Ave).  The occupants of both vehicles sustained serious injuries and were transported to the hospital.  Investigators from Patrol are conducting the investigation, which is ongoing.

Traffic Blocked: All South bound traffic between Woodland Ave and Micmac Blvd on the on the 111 Highway is reduced to one lane.  The lanes will remain closed for an extended period.
