Halifax District RCMP is investigating after a stabbing in Cole Harbour.
On Saturday, at approximately 1:29 p.m., police and EHS responded to a report of a stabbing on Cole Harbour Rd. in Cole Harbour and learned that a 21-year-old man had been stabbed. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance for life-threatening-injuries.
Police learned the victim came into a retail business and was shortly followed in by another man who then exited the business only to return with a woman. The man then stabbed the victim and he and the woman immediately left fleeing in a vehicle they arrived in. Investigators do not believe this act to be random.
The investigation is ongoing and led by the Integrated RCMP/HRP General Investigation Section (GIS) of the Criminal Investigation Division.
