Serious injuries reported after car /pedestrian accident in Halifax

At approximately 11:­20 pm on 170617 a ve­hicle was going north on Barrington St at Hollis St where it struck a male pedes­trian. The male suff­ered what appeared to be serious injurie­s. The male is being treated at the hosp­ital and there is no update on his condi­tion at this time.

The matter is being investigated by the HRP Traffic Investig­ation Unit.
