Halifax Regional Police is investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that occurred this morning on Waverley Road in Dartmouth.

 

At 11:17 a.m., a Ford Ranger travelling southbound on Waverley Road crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Hyundai Santa Fe. The occupants of the Santa Fe, two adults and two children age 3 and 9, were transported to hospital by EHS with minor injuries. The 16-year-old female driver of the Ford Ranger was transported to hospital by EHS LifeFlight with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

 

Waverley Road remains closed while accident and forensic investigators are completing their work.
