Digby RCMP has laid sexual assault charges Terence Elvis Roy Hiltz, 39, of Digby County and is reaching out to the community, in the event there are additional victims.

Hiltz has been charged with four counts of Sexual Assault, three counts of Sexual Interference, Assault and Unlawful Confinement. Three victims have been identified and these charges are in relation to incidents that occurred in Digby County between 1995 and 2020.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims and want the public to know that the police can help. Anyone who feels they could be a victim, or has questions, is encouraged to contact the Digby RCMP at 902-245-2579.

Hiltz was released from police custody on conditions. He is scheduled to appear in Digby Provincial Court on August 26 at 9:30 a.m.
