Halifax Regional Police is investigating a sexual assault that occurred yesterday in Halifax.
At approximately 6:15 p.m., police received a report of a sexual assault that had occurred in the area of the Camp Hill Cemetery 1600 Summer Street. While at in the area, a man approached a woman who was not known to him and touched her in a sexual manner.
The suspect is described as a man in his 40s, approximately 5’8” tall with a greying goatee and wearing a red shirt, blue shorts and flip flops.
We are not releasing further details out of respect and concern for the victim’s privacy and well-being.
