Halifax Regional Police is investigating a suspicious incident on Kennedy Drive in Dartmouth.
 
At 11:32 a.m., a number of spent shell casings were turned over to an officer in the 0-100 block of Kennedy Drive. Additional casings were also discovered and it’s believed that they have been there for a couple of days. There haven’t been any recent reports of shots being fired in the area and officers conducting a search and canvas of the area have not located any damage to any buildings or property. Kennedy Drive was shut down while the HRP Forensic Identification Unit conducted their investigation but has since been reopened.
