Shooting a BB gun at people results in arrest in Lower Sackville

An 18-year-old man is facing charges after being arrested for firing a BB gun at people from an apartment building window.

Just before noon on Friday, Halifax District RCMP responded to a 911 call involving someone firing a BB gun at employees of a business on Sackville Dr. Further investigation determined an 18-year-old man, of Lower Sackville, was in a 3rd floor apartment building firing a BB gun through an open window. The man was firing at employees and the business. The man was arrested without incident and a pellet gun was seized. No one was injured as a result of the incident.

The man is facing charges including Assault with a Weapon. Further charges are pending as the investigation is continuing.

He was released from custody and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date.
