A man entered the QE2 emergency facility claiming he was shot at pizza corner in downtown Halifax after an altercation early this morning.
From Halifax Police:
“A victim attended the QE2 hospital and stated that he was a victim of a gunshot wound to his right thigh about 0250 AM. Victim stated that he was in the area of the Pizza corner and had words and then started fighting with a male person ( believes he was white ) and then was shot. States that the incident occurred 3 hours before he attended the hospital. The victim was released from the hospital after the assessment. The investigation continues at this time.”
