The 26-year-old male victim is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. No suspect information is available at this time.

Halifax Regional Police confirm that investigators have cleared the scene of the shooting on Lahey Road in Dartmouth.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation, which is currently in its preliminary stages.
