Shooting On Creighton Street Injures One

At 1154 pm, Halifax Regional Police received a  report of a man having been shot, he was lying in the area of  Charles St and.Gottingen St. 
Three males, including the victim were walking in the area of Creighton St the 2400 block when they heard what they believed to be gun shots and one of the parties was shot in the back, they then ran from the area to Charles and Gottingen St. The victim a nineteen year old male from Halifax, was transported to the hospital, with non life threatening injuries.
 
The HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is currently investigating the shooting and investigators are exploring the possibility this maybe a random act.
