Shooting, two robberies overnight

Weapons
On 20110521 at 02:40 am the HRP responded to a weapons call at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Information was received that a male had entered the hospital and was being treated for a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The 27 year old male victim was subsequently transported to the QE2 Hospital with serious injuries and the incident is being investigated by the integrated HRP/RCMP GIS.  
 
 
Robbery
On 20110521 at 02:38 hours the HRP responded to a Robbery that occurred in the area a Spring Garden Road and Summer Street in Halifax. Information was received that a male victim was approached by 2 males, one of whom produced what appeared to be a small shot gun and held it to him. The suspects took the victims backpack and fled the area in a silver colored vehicle. No reported injuries.

Suspect #2 description: blue hooded sweatshirt with a balaclava.
 
 
Robbery
On 20110521 at 02:57 am the HRP responded to a Robbery that occurred at Dublin Street and Young Street in Halifax. Information was received that a male with a gun approached a 2 people walking and pushed one person to the ground and grabbed a female’s purse. The suspect then ran from the area. No reported injuries.
