A male is in custody after an incident early this morning.

At 2:30 am an east division patrol officer spotted a suspicious vehicle in the area of Main Street and Tacoma Drive and indicated a traffic stop. The vehicle fled from the officer for a short distance eventually crashing into a parked vehicle on Mountain Ave. The driver was apprehended a short distance away. A 21 year old Dartmouth male will be facing charges of Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, evading police and leaving the scene of an accident. He was held in custody and will appear in morning court. Speeds were not excessive and there were no injuries.
