Shots fired at Fairview home

Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in Halifax last night.

At approximately 7:10 p.m. officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Gebhardt Street in Halifax.  Officers attended the scene and located a residence that had been shot at.  There were no injuries as a result of this shooting.  Suspect information is as follows: light complected male approximately 30 to 40 years old, dressed in black hoodie, black pants, 5′ 10″ tall with an average build.

There was a heavy police presence in the area around the time of the shooting.  All police have left the scene but are continuing to investigate the incident.
