The HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is investigating
an incident where a number of shots were fired over the weekend in
Halifax.
Last night at approximately 7:25 p.m., police responded to a home in
the 0-100 block of Flamingo Drive in Halifax. The resident reported that
on Sunday morning he discovered a tire on his vehicle was flat and
assumed it had been slashed. Last evening he located a bullet in his
front door and what appeared to be a bullet hole in one of his planters.
An officer with the HRP Forensic Identification Section examined the
damage to the tire and determined that it was consistent with being
struck with a bullet.

Other residents in the area reported hearing what sounded like multiple
shots being fired in the area at approximately 4 a.m. Sunday morning,
however, police did not receive any reports until last evening. No one
was injured and at this time there is no indication why someone would
target this residence.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police
