Shots fired in Bedford

This was the scene in Bedford as Halifax Police responded to shots fired in a quiet neighborhood near Dartmouth Road on Friday night.  Police were called to a residence around 6:50pm, no further information was immediately available.  The street was closed to traffic as the authorities search the area.

Police have not yet commented on the incident.
