Shots fired in Cole Harbour

The General Investigative Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division is investigating a report of shots fired early yesterday morning in Cole Harbour.

At approximately 3:20 a.m. on November 20, Halifax District RCMP responded to a report of multiple shots being fired outside a residence on Fireside Drive in Cole Harbour where a number of people were gathered. No injuries were reported.

When officers arrived, a vehicle described as a blue SUV left the scene quickly and was abandoned nearby. Two men were seen running from the vehicle. Halifax District RCMP officers, with assistance of Halifax Regional Police K-9 Unit, began a search for the two people of interest. The two have not been located, and there is no further description of the men.

Investigators have found evidence of gunshots and are asking anyone who may have information to come forward and call 902-490-5020.
