Shots fired in North End Halifax

On February 6th, 2021 at approximately 11:50 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of possible gun shots in the area of Albert street and Acadian Street, Halifax. Officers arrived on scene and confirmed a shooting had taken place. No reports of any injuries.

Officers are currently on scene, including K-9, and Forensic Identification members. We ask that people avoid the area.

The investigation is in its preliminary stages and further information will be released when available.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation.

The suspect is described as:

Suspect – Male, wearing grey hoodie driving a white sedan type vehicle.
