Shots Fired Near The Dome

Police have three people in custody after an incident early this morning near the Metro Centre and a popular Downtown nightclub.

At 0256 Halifax Regional Police received reports of shots fired near Grafton St  and Carmichael St in downtown Halifax. A male was seen running away,  he was stopped on Upper Water St, and is currently in police custody. Also at this time a vehicle fled the scene with two parties in it. This vehicle was stopped on Creighton St. and two male parties have been arrested and are also in custody the vehicle has been seized. There were no injuries related to this incident. The investigation is ongoing it is still in the initial stages.
