Single vehicle crash takes life of 21-year-old

RCMP release:

RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Ingramport.

On September 3, at approximately 8:10 a.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment, fire services, and EHS, responded to a report of a vehicle crash on Service Lane, near exit 5A of Hwy. 103. RCMP officers learned that a Ford Mustang was travelling on the road when it reached the end of the roadway and struck boulders. 

The driver and lone occupant, a 21-year-old Hubley man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Service Lane was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
