Small v. Halifax Regional Municipality

An independent Nova Scotia human rights board of inquiry in the case of Rodney Small v. Halifax Regional Municipality is scheduled to begin Tuesday, June 9.

Mr. Small alleges that while he was employed by HRM, he was subject to racial discrimination and racial harassment at work.

HRM denies the allegations.

The board of inquiry is scheduled to begin daily at 9:30 a.m., in the Chebucto Room, Best Western Chocolate Lake, 20 St. Margaret’s Bay Rd., Halifax.

The board chair, Walter Thompson, is independent of the commission, which is representing the public interest at the inquiry.
