Smith v. Capital Health District Authority Inquiry Set

An independent Nova Scotia human rights board of inquiry in the case of Tony Smith v. Capital Health District Authority is scheduled to begin on Thursday, Jan. 8.

Mr. Smith alleges he was discriminated against on the basis of race or colour, and disability while employed by the authority.

The board of inquiry will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Nova Scotia Art Gallery in the Seminar Room, 1723 Hollis St., Halifax.

The board chair is Donald Murray, who is independent of the commission, which is a party representing the public interest at the board of inquiry.
