Smokes and cash stolen from convenience store

Halifax District RCMP is investigating a recent break, enter and theft that occurred in Lower Sackville.

At 6:30 a.m. yesterday, police were notified of a break and enter at a convenience store on Sackville Dr. When they arrived, it was determined someone had entered the store through a broken window. A number of items were stolen, including cigarettes, cigars and cash. The incident occurred between midnight and 6 a.m. Officers located the stolen items nearby which lead to a recently reported stolen 2009 green Jaguar parked on Margaret Dr.

The investigation is ongoing.
