Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.
Locations: Most of mainland Nova Scotia and western Cape Breton.
Time span: Today and into this evening for eastern regions.
Remarks: The snow will be mixed with or change to rain along parts of the coast where northeast winds blow onshore.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways, and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
