Some bridge Terminal bus bays closed for weekend construction

HRM release:

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and Halifax Transit riders of bus service impacts at the Bridge Terminal for the upcoming weekend due to construction.

Bridge Terminal impacts

From Friday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. until Monday, Sept. 22 at 5 a.m., the following impacts will be in place:

Bridge Terminal bus bays 9 to 16 will be closed.
All buses will service bays 1 to 8 during this time.

Routes 10B, 10C and 87 will not service Victoria Road After Nantucket Avenue (8429) and Thistle Street After Victoria Road (8389).

This necessary work is part of the Regional Council-approved 2025/26 Capital Plan, which includes investment in Halifax Transit facilities, including terminals, transit centres and parking areas. These improvements are essential to providing safe, comfortable, and reliable transit service and will enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility.
