From HRCE:
NOTE: Exams scheduled for today are rescheduled to tomorrow for all schools.
Due to poor road conditions, and to allow for cleanup following the winter storm, the following Families of Schools are closed today, Monday, February 2, 2026:
- Bay View High
- Eastern Shore Consolidated
- Marine Drive
- Musquodoboit Rural High
All other HRCE schools will be delayed in opening by two hours to allow additional time for cleanup.
This means:
Bused students will be picked up two hours later than their regular time
- Lunch and dismissal will be at regularly scheduled times
- EXCEL programs are canceled for the morning only
